HOW TO GET THERE

Praiwan Rafthouse is unable to arrange pick up/drop off for individual travelers. Sorry, please understand that we are in the midst of a remote forest without internet or phone calls 24/7.

It's not difficult find us:

drive here The embarkation point goes down to Phraiwan. is the pier of Ratchaprapha Dam You can find a junction on Highway 401 at Ban Ta Khun. From the pier, it's a 40-minute boat ride across the lake to Praiwan.

Nearest Airport: You can fly from Bangkok to Surat Thani. (One hour flight) and the airport is only 100 km away (approximately an hour's drive). Thai people know each other. You can make a reservation online in advance.

 

One way to do this is with Nok Air's Fly and Ride – a combined flight and ticket will take you to the pier.

  • Phuket Airport is slightly away, about 180 km and about 2.5 hours drive.

  • Air-conditioned buses from Surat, Phuket and minivans are also available.

  • Direct van services from Krabi (about 2 hours) and Takua Pa (about an hour) are also available.

BOAT: The last boat departs around 4:00 p.m.

National Park Entrance Fee: (at Ratchaprapha Pier.)

  • For foreigners 340 baht per person

  • For Thai people 50 baht per person
